Making Wire Bonsai Trees with Mark Bynum
At this meeting, each member will be creating a 2” tall wire tree to take home and display on their bookcase shelf.
We will be practicing branch placement, leaf pad placement, and root development of the bonsai art. It will be a fun meeting for all!
The club will supply the tree materials, and there is no fee.
You will need to bring:
Needle-nosed pliers (for some twisting of wires and placement of branches)
Wire cutters, preferably craft size, but any will do.
Tweezers (for fine tuning leaf pads and roots)
A small hand or kitchen towel for your workspace so the beads don’t roll away!
Note: If you do not have some of these tools, the members will share.
