Mike Lane will be your instructor for this workshop. You will learn to take a piece of deadwood and attach live growth to it to make the Bonsai look a LOT older than it actually is.
The morning will be a demonstration of the process, then in the afternoon session, you can make your own Tanuki with Mike’s guidance. We have access to Juniper deadwood, thanks to I Dig It, $10 per piece and we have gotten some fine examples of Itoigawa Juniper whips from Eric at Bonsify for $20 each.
